With over 300 students speaking over 30 different languages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, we are a friendly, diverse and welcoming community. We have spacious outdoor grounds with separate outdoor learning and play spaces for Reception and our Preschool. 

St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School and Preschool

In September 2025, we are excited to transition to our larger and much-improved school site in Biddenham, Bedford. Our new school name will be St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School and Preschool. 

Our school is a special place, where people from all walks of life come together, we live harmoniously with one another, and our children are excellent examples of how to live in the wider world.

We believe that all children have the right to an engaging and aspirational education. We have worked hard to develop a curriculum which promotes achievement for all. As noted in our most recent Ofsted Inspection, our 'ambitious new curriculum is markedly improving pupils' achievement.'
